Meet Greg Oliver
Greg's latest book, "Father Bauer and the Great Experiment: The Genesis of Canadian Olympic Hockey," was just published in April. He is the author of six books on professional wrestling, and five books on hockey. (Leaf fans may be ineterested in his book, "Written in Blue and White: The Toronto Maple Leafs Contracts and Historical Documents from the Collection of Allan Stitt," that was released in 2014.
Greg is also the co-founder and producer of the SLAM! Wrestling website, and has contributed to many other publications, including The Hockey News, Publishers Weekly, The Globe & Mail, The Toronto Sun, Kingston Whig-Standard, Kitchener-Waterloo Record, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fighting Spirit Magazine. As a teenager, he published The Canadian Wrestling Report (1985-1990).

As always, this is an informal meeting. If you're involved in one - or more - of the local minor sports groups or want to become involved with one, our dinner meetings offer a great opportunity to learn about the local minor sports community and how we can help each other.
