Discussion & vote on KMHA request for equipment grant of $23,000

Attendees heard a brief presentation from Rolland Cyr, KMHA's General manager, on the need for additional goalie equipment to comply with mandated changes and electronic equiments (iPads) for use by the organization's games controllers. KSA's Grants Committee, through Chair John Thompson, recommended that KSA provide support of $23,000 and that amount was approved.

Strategic Plan Reports

Each of the four committees(Governance, Risk, Media & Volunteers) presented updates on their discussions and recommendations. Lots of areas still to be covered as KSA moves forward. The goal is to have updated policies, bylaws, procedures, mandate, etc. in place for discussion by September and approval/activation at the October General Meeting. Your input is appreciated!

As always, this was an informal meeting. We plan to be back for membership meetings in the fall -- and you're invited!  In the meantime, enjoy the summer break!
