Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee

The Organizing Committee is tasked with the responsibility of planning, managing and delivering the Games, the largest sporting event ever held in Canada  - even bigger than the Olympics in terms of number of sports and participating athletes.. 
Betty spent over thirty years in Logistics with Maple Leaf Foods and Kraft Canada, then the last three years with the Mississauga Hockey League as League Scheduler.

KSA ISC Legacy Grant cheque presentations:

Kitchener Minor Baseball
Grant of $7,000 to expand & enhance the Breithaupt Park batting cages.

KW Boys Minor Softball
Grant of $4,000 for dugouts at Wilson Park

New Hamburg Minor Softball
Grant of $2,500 for purchase of pitching machines.

Sports for Special Athletes
Grant of $1,130 for the purchase of a pitching machine

Stanley Park Optimist Ball
Grant of $5,000 to purchase of safety masks and helmets for infielders


Dinner  - $25 (Annual fee $200 covers all 8 dinner meetings)

This was the first dinner  as we get back from summer break


Please mark down the 3rd Tuesday of each month for KSA dinners - future notices will then be reminders! (We do not have dinner meetings in December, June, July and August.)

NOTE: Due to a Kitchener Ranger home game on Tuesday October 21, our October dinner meeting will be held WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 22 - that way everyone gets to attend both events!

Our 26th annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner is Tuesday November 18. All local minor sports groups are encouraged to have one of their key volunteers recognized at this special event. Reminder: Nomination forms must be submitted well beforehand.
