Jim has generously maintained the Hallman family's tradition of generously supporting minor softball and men's fastball through sponsorships of teams, tournaments and other initiatives.

Also in attendance were Craig Crawford, Jody Eidt and Ryan Wolfe, alumni of the  Hallman Twins and experienced players with Canada's National Team at various international (Pan-Am) and world ISF (International Softball Federation) championships.

Attendees were updated on Kitchener's hosting of the prestigious International Softball Congress 2014 World Championship, featuring more than sixty teams in Men's Open, Masters (Legends) and Junior brackets.This tournament will be held August 8-16 at Peter Hallman Ball Yard and Budd Park.  

& the KSA Softball Legacy Grant Program

John Thompson annouced the establishment of the KSA / ISC 2014 Tournament Legacy Grant Program which will provide generous funding to minor softball/baseball organizations that encompass Kitchener, Waterloo, Wellesley,  Woolwich and/or Wilmot. Full information about these grants was confirmed at the dinner and application forms were made available to those in attendance. All minor softball organizations (male, female and co-ed) are encouraged to attend and make application.


Dinner meetings are usually the 3rd Tuesday of each month

May 20 (Athlete of the Year)

June 17 (KSA Scholarship Awards - speaker TBA)

No meetings in December, July and August
